The Treasure House at the Transfer Station has been open since June. We have tried to have it staffed and open from 9 to 3 on Saturdays. This winter, during January, February and March, we hope to have it staffed and open from 10 to 2. The Treasure House is one way to lessen our town’s solid waste. Everything in the Treasure House is free! When you are cleaning out items you no longer want, if they are in good enough shape to be reused, bring them to the Treasure House – one person’s trash is often another person’s treasure.
