2 chilly months, 3 hot Events in Elkins Speaker Series … plus our regular programs!

On Thursday, Feb. 15 at 6 pm in the Town Hall, Steve Blunt presents “Liberty Is Our Motto! Songs and Stories of the Hutchinson Family Singers.” Originally from Milford, the Hutchinson Family Singers were among America’s most notable musical entertainers for much of the mid-19th century, with songs advancing social reform and political causes such as abolition, temperance, women’s suffrage, and the Lincoln presidential campaign of 1860. In this living history program, Steve Blunt portrays John Hutchinson. This is a NH Humanities Program. Director’s note: I’ve asked Abe Lincoln and a friendly Civil War soldier to come enjoy the evening as well.

Plus, save these March dates:

Jordan Tirrell-Wysocki on Wednesday, March 6, at 6 pm in the Town Hall for Irish Pub Night.

David Tirrell-Wysocki on Thursday, March 21 at 6 pm in the Town Hall for The NH Primary: A Dream and $1000, You’re on the Ballot.
