At our January Cloverbuds meeting, the children loved playing with their food! We worked on food art at this meeting to help prepare members for the upcoming Merrimack Valley 4H Food Show. Cloverbuds made teddy bear toast, bugs on a log, and other one-of-a-kind creations with healthy food options like rice cakes, cream cheese, sunbutter, fruits and veggies. Members also created beautiful place-setting designs. We also constructed 3-D food structures using toothpicks, mini marshmallows, and cheese squares. This meeting was a blast! Everyone had a great time trying new healthy foods and expressing their creativity!

Our upcoming Cloverbuds meeting and 4H Learning Theme is:
Serving Our Community. On Monday, Feb. 5, at 5 pm at the Canterbury Parish House, 6 Hackleboro Road. We will create Valentine bookmarks, which we will share with others at the Elkins Public Library. We will write valentines cards for senior citizens. Members will also make Valentine suncatchers to brighten up their own homes. This month we will also begin a food drive for the Loudon Food Pantry. Come and join the fun!
