Join UNH Natural Resource Stewards Jim and Donna Miller for a free Winter Walk in our town’s center.
Learn how to identify trees using their bark and canopy rather than leaves as well as follow tracks and scat to see what creatures call Canterbury Center home. Meet at the gazebo on Saturday, Feb. 17, at 10 a.m. dressed for the weather. We will end back at the Parish House for some hot chocolate and Q&A! Come and connect to the environmental diversity here in Canterbury!
Park at the Center or by the Town Hall. Gather at the gazebo at 10 a.m. Restroom available at the Canterbury Country Store. Dress for the weather elements (snowshoes if we get snow to warrant them, waterproof cold-weather boots, and hand warmers if needed), and binoculars if you have them.
