Visit Canterbury Shaker Village for an all-ages, outdoor, public art project for peace – a visual celebration of the Shaker core values of non-violence and pacifism.

Where: Next to the Meeting House.

When: Sunrise to sunset through May 31.

How: Pick up a ribbon at the Elkins Public Library, the Shaker Village entrance or at the Peace Tree and tie it to the tree. You may write a message on the ribbon if you like. It’s that easy! The Village asks that you do not tie any other material to the tree, as unapproved materials may cause harm to our wildlife.
