The Friends of Elkins Public Library (FOEPL) would like to express our gratitude for the support, kindness and generosity of all who attended the Irish Pub Night in March. The volunteer effort for this fundraising activity was outstanding and a good time was had by all.

The event was a huge success and the funds raised through the sale of raffle tickets and the donation jars will all be used to support the library’s growth. This could not have been accomplished without the support of FOEPL members, library staff and the wonderful people in attendance. And, of course, the fantastic performance by Jordan Tirrell-Wysocki.

Spring Meeting: There will be a full FOEPL membership meeting at 6 pm on Tuesday, April 16, in the Meeting House next to the Elkins Library. After reviewing the success from Irish Pub Night, we’ll be discussing plans for future fundraisers, hearing from the library director about programming needs and voting to allocate funds to these programs. Please come if you want to find out more about what is going on at the library. All are welcome! If you are interested in joining us and are not yet a member, you can find membership forms at the library.
