Students, apply for your Canterbury Fund scholarship before May 31!

The Canterbury Fund is a charitable trust, administered by the trustees of the Canterbury United Community Church, who also act as trustees of the Canterbury Fund. The Canterbury Fund is primarily funded through the Canterbury Fair. The Declaration of Trust of the Canterbury Fund, as amended, states that: “The purposes of this Charitable Trust are to aid financially, or in any other manner deemed reasonable and necessary by the Trustees, those Canterbury, New Hampshire residents who are in need of financial assistance due to hardship; to aid the higher education of worthy students; to make grants or loans to said individuals; and to make grants or loans to organizations in Canterbury to assist in the funding of community projects which, in the opinion of the Trustees, are in the best interests of all Canterbury residents”

The student application deadline is May 31. No exceptions. The applicants will be required to introduce themselves at an informal meeting in June. To request an application, please contact Jessie Tichko via email: tshot04@gmail.com
