Please join in our Memorial Day observance

Our Canterbury Memorial Day Service will be held in the Center on Monday, May 27. The parade starts at 10 am.

Let us gather together to remember and recognize America’s veterans who died while serving in the United States armed forces. This year we will honor the fallen with our traditional parade and service in the gazebo, with the addition of some new traditions.

The featured speaker this year will be Beth Blair, who will highlight the contributions of women of the American Red Cross who served during World War II.

If you are interested in participating in the ceremony or parade, please contact Mark Stevens or Rachel Baker. Veterans in or out of uniform are especially welcome.

The parade will form up at the elementary school at 9:45am, if you would like to join us. In the event of inclement weather the service will be moved indoors.
