The Town Clerk/Tax Collector’s office will be closed Wednesday, May 8, for training. They will also be closed, along with the Town Office, on Monday, May 27, for Memorial Day.

Evan Hauptman, a valued member of our Highway Department, resigned in April to pursue a career as a self-employed contractor. We want to thank Evan for his dedication and work at the Highway Department.

The Town Clerk/Tax Collector received the folder/Inserter that was approved at Town Meeting. It will help improve efficiency for all town staff.

The fireworks at Canterbury Elementary School will be held on Saturday, July 6, with a rain date of Sunday, July 7. Once again, JPI Pyrotechnics will be providing the show.

The annual audit of the town’s finances is being conducted by Plodzik and Sanderson.

The regular board of selectmen’s meetings are Monday, May 6 and May 20.
