Congratulations to Haven Adams, Katie Beauchemin, Connor Burkowski, Elijah Cole, Madeline Escamilla, Aurora Hopkins, Amelia Krautmann, Penelope Lemay, Max Marino, Anna Mason, Raegan Melanson, Hazel Rivera, Angus Todd, Liam Treadway, Abraham Wright and Jackson Wright. I am so proud of each of you.

Earth Day: CES students and staff celebrated Earth Day on May 3 with a school-wide cleanup effort. Our K-1 students worked hard to take care of the garden beds at CES. They also helped to clean up trash on school grounds. Our 2nd and 3rd graders collaborated with Canterbury residents Jim and Donna Miller to spruce up the town center. Fourth grade students did some painting and gardening, and our fifth grade students gave the area around the one-room schoolhouse some TLC. It was a wonderful collaborative effort to give back to our community and take care of our town and school grounds.

End of the Year: We have several fun end-of-year events scheduled, such as a field day and some outdoor field trips. We are excited to be continuing a special school tradition, the whole school field trip. On June 14, we will head to the Stone Zoo in Stoneham, Mass.!

As we look forward to the last weeks of the school year, CES staff members continue to remain focused on supporting students and helping them to achieve their best. I wish you all a healthy, happy summer.
