Loudon Food Pantry puts food on 6,671 tables

In April the Loudon Food Pantry gave out enough food to 302 individuals for them to prepare 6,671 meals. Of these people, 138 were aged 60 and older (46%), 68 were aged 18 or under (23%), and 96 were between those ages (32%).

The Food Pantry will be closed and unavailable for the week of June 17. We will begin servicing again on Tuesday, June 25. Per usual, our customers will be given enough food for the week we’re closed.

Fill a Cruiser Event: The Loudon Police Department stuffed a cruiser with food for us on April 27. We received 263.30 pounds of food. This equates to 219 meals. Great job!

Do you need food? One phone call is all it takes. The process is simple and if you have all your paperwork, you’ll receive food the same day as your appointment! To see if you qualify, go to LoudonFoodPantry.org and click on Need Help? or call me at (603) 724-9731.
