We’re pleased to announce that through the end of March, customers of Canterbury Community Power (CCP) have benefited from $184,000 in rate savings (compared to Unitil, Eversource and NHEC default energy rates), and an additional $86,000 in Canterbury’s allocated share of Coalition Joint Reserves (our share of equity in the Community Power Coalition of New Hampshire’s net assets). This amounts to $270,000+ of accumulated Community Benefits since the program launched in June 2023. Since March 31, that total will have risen further!

Meanwhile, new electric energy rates for CCP customers will be set at the end of June, effective Aug. 1.
