Have your kids or grandkids discovered the basket of plush and crocheted fruits and veggies by the circulation desk in the Elkins Library? They are by the wall with the carrot wallpaper, right around the corner from the jigsaw puzzle table. These soft friends are just waiting to be played with, hugged, counted, and carried around. NEW this week we have added Wally the Watermelon! All we ask is that they end up back in the basket for the next small person to play with.*
