Here is a Market Quiz. Out of the following list, what can’t you find at the Canterbury Farmers Market?
Orchard fruits, fresh eggs from happy hens, tomatoes, maple candy, pasture raised meats, fresh frozen fish, sourdough bread, cookies and baked goods, corn, bagels, maple syrup, pasture raised meat, lettuce, fruit preserves, berries, honey, fresh lemonade, summer squash, scape pesto, handmade soap, cucumbers, hand turned wooden bowls, maple sugar, onions, olive oil, Greek pastries, dried tea blends, cheese, giraffes, fresh butter, krauts, herbs, tasty greens, preserved meats, coffee, refill soap and cleaning products, potatoes, art soaps, garlic, wine jelly, beautiful floral bouquets, freshly-made pizza, iced tea, hand-spun wool.
Okay, did you find the one thing we don’t carry? That’s right, the market has all of this local goodness – except giraffes.
Ways to save at the market
We accept SNAP/EBT cards and we match the first $20 of your SNAP/EBT purchase. You can use this benefit every week for food purchases. We also offer Veterans Market Dollars. Show your V.A. card or active military ID, a NH driver’s license with the veteran logo, or your DD214 for $20 in market tokens good at any vendor. You can use this benefit once a month.

3rd Week: Market Food Slam (local goodness made to order)

Live music every week: Check our schedule at www.CanterburyFarmersMarket.com, or follow us on Facebook and Instagram. We have picnic tables back by the music tent where you can relax, visit, nosh and listen to the tunes.
Just a reminder: The market is every Wednesday in August and September, 4 to 6:30 pm, rain or shine (except for big thunderstorms). Find us next to the Elkins Library. The last outdoor market of the season is Wed., Oct. 2.
