The Book Sale is looking for books, media, and volunteers!

To donate: Books, DVDs or CDs with audiobooks, film/TV shows, can be dropped off at the barn on 24 Ayers Road from June 15-July 13 on Saturday and Sunday afternoons only, from 1-6 pm. They can also be dropped off at the Canterbury Town Hall on the following dates and times, when we’ll be sorting and organizing books:

  • Mondays, July 15 and 22, 2 to 5 pm.
  • Wednesdays, July 17 and 24, 2 to 5 pm.
  • Thursdays, July 18 and 25, 2 to 5 pm.

Please don’t drop off encyclopedias, textbooks, magazines, or damaged materials; we cannot sell them. They can go to the Transfer Station.

To volunteer: You can help with sorting and organizing materials and setting up tables at the Town Hall on any of the dates above, with final set up, if needed, on Friday, July 26, and with helping buyers, keeping book tables filled, and managing sales on fair day. If you have questions or want to volunteer, contact Stephanie Jackson at 603-783-0495 or sfjackson130@comcast.net or come by the Town Hall while we’re sorting!
