Janet King’s commemorative art show opens at the Canterbury Center Parish House on Sunday, Sept. 8, daily from 3 to 7 pm. Some of the paintings are on loan from private collections, and others will be available for sale, with donations to the Canterbury United Community Church (deposit required; cash or check to CUCC). The show will run through Saturday, Sept. 21, when Janet’s celebration of life will be held at the church and Parish House at 1 pm.
