1st Session of Town Meeting
Tuesday, March 11, 7am – 7pm
Voting will take place at the historic Town Hall in the center of Canterbury. At this session we vote to elect town officials and decide on zoning changes.
Remember that on March 11 we will also be voting on the Shaker Regional School District budget! Go to the Shaker Regional School District website Here to see the school budget articles you will be voting on. You will also find a sample ballot that includes the candidates for School Board that you will be voting on.
Be sure to register to vote and apply for an absentee ballot if needed!
2nd Session of
Town Meeting
Friday, March 14, 7pm
The second session will take place in the Canterbury Elementary School gym. At this session we meet to discuss and vote on Canterbury’s annual budget and other warrant articles.
Note: The warrant articles for the second session were finalized at the Selectboard’s Public Hearing on 2/18/2025.
Try to get to 2nd Session early — you will need to sign in and get your green/red card so you can vote.
The line can be long!
Need to be Absentee?
In addition to normal office hours between now and Election Day, the Town Clerk’s office will be available from 3 to 5 p.m. on Monday, March 10 to receive absentee ballot requests and to accept returned absentee ballots, for voting on Tuesday March 11th.
