It’s been an exciting month for Pack 296, and we’re proud to share the highlights!

Scouts across all ranks were
busy completing adventures:
Lions tackled “Pick My Path,” Tigers
reached for the stars with “Sky Is the
Limit,” Wolves explored aviation through
“Air of the Wolf,” and Webelos sharpened their skills in “The Chef’s Knife.” As a pack, everyone also completed the “Race Time” adventure —leading up to one of the year’s most anticipated events, the Pinewood Derby!

This year’s Derby was especially meaningful, marking its return to Canterbury after nearly a decade! Eight Scouts competed in the pack race, and we were thrilled to welcome 16 community members for the community races. It was a day full of creativity, excitement, and friendly competition. Most importantly, our Scouts demonstrated outstanding sportsmanship throughout.

We’re proud to share that our top three racers will advance to the regional Pinewood Derby in Concord, April 18. We wish them luck!

Looking ahead, Scouts will explore recycling and energy while building their own greenhouses—an hands-on way to learn about sustainability and environmental stewardship.

We warmly welcome new Cub Scouts in grades K–5. Curious families are invited to join us every other Friday from 5:45–7:00 PM at the Parish House. For more information, contact us at pack296nh@gmail.com or Jon Sinclair at 603-502-3956.
