Monster Concert
The CES band recently traveled to BHS for a day of rehearsals that culminated in the evening’s Monster Concert. Our students did a fantastic job collaborating with one another and with the 5th–12th grade SRSD band members to deliver an amazing performance. Their effort, bravery, and persistence were on full display, and we are so proud of them. Way to go, CES band!

Wellness Week
CES recently held its second annual Wellness Week, and it was a great success. Students enjoyed each themed day’s special events and activities: Move It Monday, Take a Breath Tuesday, Water Wednesday, Tech-Free Thursday, and Flavorful Friday. Thank you to our Wellness Committee for coordinating such a fun and meaningful week.

1920s Kickoff Event
Each year, we explore a different decade in history, and this year it was the Roaring Twenties. Students took part in many activities to learn about the era before their visit to the one-room schoolhouse later this spring. They watched silent films, danced the Charleston, completed woodworking projects, created items on an assembly line, heard stories from long ago, and more. It was a terrific day for all involved, and we appreciate the support of our amazing teachers and community members who helped bring it to life.

Curriculum Night
Curriculum Night was a huge success last month. The evening began with a delicious pizza dinner, followed by classroom and office visits where students and their guests enjoyed fun, hands-on activities highlighting literacy, math, the arts, and science. It was a fantastic night filled with excitement, discovery, and community spirit. Thank you to the CES Leadership Team for coordinating this wonderful event!
