Outdoor Story Time: Warmer weather is here! Join us Thursdays at 2:00 pm for outdoor stories and play. With a focus on nature, this program meets outside rain or shine.
Teen Night: Join us June 2 at 5:00 pm for a Graduation Party honoring our graduating high school seniors!
LEGO Club: Join us Tuesdays from 3:00 to 4:15 pm for imagination, construction, and friendship. Children under age 10 must be accompanied by an adult per our EPL Safe Child Policy. Duplos will be available for younger patrons.
The Old Man Boring Book Club: Meets Thurs., May 7 at 6pm. This group reads nonfiction books, then gathers to discuss and share book reports. Stop by and check it out before their summer break.
Evening Book Group with Rosie: Will discuss “Caleb’s Crossing” by Geraldine Brooks on Wednesday, May 20 at 6pm. Copies are available at the Circulation Desk.
Murder, Mayhem and Misadventure — Plus Extras: Meets May 26 at 2pm to discuss The Thursday Murder Club. Copies are available at the circ desk. All are welcome.
Pins and Needles: A wonderful group that enjoys knitting, crochet, mending, and conversation. Join your neighbors and craft together. Meets every Wednesday at 2:00 pm in the Fireplace Parlor. All skill levels welcome.

Special Program for Seniors: ServiceLink Aging and Disability Resource Center will visit Wednesday, May 6 at 10:00 am to discuss protecting yourself against Medicare and healthcare fraud. Learn how to detect, report, and prevent fraud. Part of our ongoing commitment to offering meaningful resources for older patrons.
Free Tech Help: Call the library to reserve a half-hour tech help appointment on Thursdays between 4:00 and 6:00 pm. Kal’s schedule fills quickly, so call soon-as-you-can. Thank you, Kal!

Canterbury Chess Club: A casual, all-ages, all-levels chess meetup at the Library. Meets the 2nd and 4th Thursdays at 5 pm. Enjoy relaxed, unrated games with whatever time controls the group chooses that evening. Bring your favorite board, or we have some to share.
Farmers Market: It’s habit forming — come to the Center on Wednesdays because the Canterbury Farmers Market is right outside our door! Be part of NH Gives, New Hampshire’s biggest day of giving! Friends of Elkins Public Library will participate again in 2026. This 24-hour statewide fundraiser supports nonprofits across NH.
