Treasure House is Open Saturdays!

Canterbury residents are giving great items a second life every Saturday from 10 a.m.–2 p.m. at the Transfer Station. Many times, treasures disappeared within minutes — but there’s still plenty to discover!
You never know what you’ll find: bud vases for garden flowers, china and glassware for entertaining, office organizers, sporting equipment, toys for the grandkids, and lots of unique surprises (even a few perfect gag gifts!).
Stop by to browse, chat with neighbors, or donate clean, unbroken items. One of the best parts is watching someone’s “no longer needed” item become someone else’s treasure.
Watch for featured items on Freecycle and the Town Email, or send me your email address and I’ll happily share photos after
my shift.

Treasure House is looking for a volunteer for the 4th Saturday of the month, 12–2 p.m. If you can spare two hours a month, you’ll get first look at incoming donations and help keep this popular community resource going. More volunteers could even mean longer hours. Contact me if you’re interested! mlowe@lowetemp.com
