Be sure to check out our upcoming events posted on our website, our Facebook page, the Canterbury weekly newsletter or stop in to the library to pick up a printed schedule.
Tuesday, June 30: Dinosaur Story Time
Thursday, July 2: Children’s Museum of NH: Dinosaur Detectives: representatives from the Children’s Museum of NH will talk about the basics of paleontology, see some of the Museum’s fossil and replica collection, and create a mini dinosaur diorama to take home.
Tuesday, July 7: T-Rex Tea Party: Join us for a special tea party with Canterbury’s own dinosaur, Madame Tea Rex! Learn proper tea etiquette as we sip tea and have a snack. Dress up and wear a special hat to make it extra T-Rex special!
Thursday, July 9: Are Dinosaurs Still Around?: Join us for Story Time with special guest “Andy the Armadillo!” from the Texas Roadhouse.
Tuesday, July 14: Petals in The Pines: Tale Trail and Playtime: Join us at Petals in the Pines, 126 Baptist Rd, for a walk through the woods and play time in the Pavilion. Be on the lookout for dinosaurs as you spend the morning at Petals in the Pines.
Thursday, July 16: Building Dinosaurs with LEGOs: Join us for a morning of creative building. We challenge you to make a dinosaur out of LEGOs! Let’s see who can make: the biggest dinosaur, the most creative dinosaur and the most realistic dinosaur.
Tuesday, July 21: Lindsay and her Puppet Pals: Lindsay brings her larger-than-life Puppet Pals to child and family audiences across New England. Filled with silliness, active audience engagement, and memorable characters, this series of charming short stories will delight the young and the young at heart!
Thursday, July 23: Dinosaur Finale! Take a walk back in time during Prehistoric times, digging for dinosaur eggs, finding fossils, meeting dinosaurs and MORE!
