We greatly appreciate the assistance given to us 
March 9th by Fire Chief Mike Gamache and Lt. 
Herbie Batchelder installing up to date smoke and 
carbon monoxide detectors in our home. While we 
have been diligent changing batteries year to year since 1992, ours were very outdated and one needed proper relocating. We encourage all our neighbors and friends to review your home safety products. Thanks to their advice about what and where to purchase detectors that have ten-year batteries in them, ours are now up and  working. Thank you both and hope you hear from folks town looking to ensure very affordable safety for their families.        ~ Lisa Carlson and Al Edelstein
