DRAMA CLUB PRODUCTION
Kudos to Mrs. McCauley, Mrs. Perlet and the entire CES drama club for the incredible production of The Jungle Book! As always, many CES students from grades 1-4 took part in drama club this year. The student-made sets were fantastic, and it was terrific to see each student’s confidence grow over the course of the rehearsals and in the final performance.

EARTH DAY
Prior to spring break, students and staff celebrated Earth Day by participating in community clean-up projects. Fourth grade students focused on revitalizing the Secret Garden (flower garden), while kindergarteners worked in the vegetable garden. Third graders walked downtown to clean the town center, and first and second grade students cleaned up the school grounds, including the outdoor classroom. This initiative not only fostered environmental stewardship but also built a sense of community pride and responsibility.
END OF THE YEAR
We have several fun end-of-year events scheduled, such as a field day and outdoor field trips. We are excited to be continuing a special school tradition, the whole school field trip. On June 12, we will head to Squam Lakes Science Center in Holderness, NH!
As we look forward to the last weeks of the school year, CES staff members continue to remain focused on supporting students and helping them to achieve their best. I wish you all a healthy, happy summer.
