Regular Board of Selectmen meetings are October 5 and 19  at 5pm in the Meeting House. Please see the Town website for login information.

The Board of Selectmen are working with Revision Energy to replace the existing HVAC system with ductless heat pumps. Work is scheduled for early to mid-October.

The Board of Selectmen, Department Heads, and staff at the Town Office are currently working on the 2027 Budget and potential Warrant Articles. We will be meeting with the Budget Committee in November.

The Board of Selectmen attended the Sherwood Forest Association annual meeting on Sunday September 13. The Board also attended a joint School Board, Canterbury BOS and Belmont BOS meeting on September 22.

We want to welcome Tony Galica as the newest 
 employee at the Canterbury Highway Department. 
We also want to welcome back Jan Stout, who is 
helping with the Land Use Administrator position 
on a temporary basis.

The Board of Selectmen has hired an outside consultant to take over the Welfare Officer/Community Assistance position. If you are in need of assistance please contact the town office.
